Lucky Day

Once again the trash can ran off  (does yours do this too?) and left my son with no choice but to leave a bottle cap on the kitchen counter. Lucky for me it was an awesome bottle cap with 'Craft be Cherished Rules be Damned' stamped on it. I had been struggling for days trying to create a tag with the letter C and metal ( I cleary need to get some metal embellishments or some foil tapes and paper) for the challenge at Dragon's Dream, so this bottle cap was Perfect ~ and the theme for the challenge at Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge is Lucky.

 Here's my finished tag ~

Supplies Used:

Rubber Stamps ~ All from Stamper's Anonymous / Tim Holtz Collection, Archival ink ~ jet black, Distress inks ~ soot black, peacock feather, picked raspberry, spiced marmalade, mustard seed (I love these new mini distress inks!), black embossing powder, clear embossing powder, heat tool, ink blending tool, foam adhesive, tag, cardstock, twine, bottle cap.

Archival ink ~ jet black
tiny gems
grunge board (to create the marquee arrow)
black acrylic paint (splatters)

Cameo Card

Good Morning! This week at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog the theme is ~ A Cameo Appearance. For my card, I watercolored with some spray inks on textured cardstock, then added a little random stamping in black ink to create a background. I stamped the Cameo image onto smooth cardstock, punched it out with an oval punch, and attached it to the background. I topped it off with a die cut frame, and coated it with a layer of glossy accents. Once dry I added a small flower (also colored with the spray inks), and the sentiment.

Supplies used:
Cameo ~  C3611
Grain and Coal (script stamp for the background) ~F3045
Dylusions Spray Inks ~ Fresh Lime and Vibrant Turquoise
Archival ink ~ Jet Black
Glossy accents
Die cut frame
Small white flower
white cardstock (smooth, textured, and glossy)

Altered Playing Card

Good Morning Everyone! Eclectic Paperie is having an Altered Playing Card challenge and I thought it would be fun to give it a try. I hadn't created anything for quite a long time ~ it was soooooo nice to get messy again! Here's what I came up with ~

~ front of card ~
I used a few number stamps to add to the already existing and visible 2.

~ back of card ~

~ supplies used ~

Forgot to get a picture of the little star stamp and a before picture of the playing card ~ I used a 2 of Spades. The sequin waste stamp is by Tim Holtz, the three Apocalyptic stamps are from VLVS, the number stamps (0,4,1) are from Crafty Secrets. Dylusions Spray Inks ~ bubblegum pink, squeezed orange, and postbox red. Distress inks ~ rusty hinge and barn door. StazOn ink ~ jet black. I used molding paste over the surface for texture.
